Criticality

Over time, assets fail.  Maintaining, rehabilitating and replacing assets before they fail usually saves money.  But how do you decide what to spend money on and when to spend it?  You must determine which assets are the most critical.  To do that you must determine how likely it is that an asset will fail and, if it does fail, what are the consequences.  These resources can help you identify your most critical assets for sustained operations.
