Eva Schwendimann
Eva Schwendimann earned her B.A. in Earth Sciences at the University of Memphis and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Water Resources at the University of New Mexico. Eva started at the Southwest Environmental Finance Center (SW EFC) in March of 2026 as a Water Utility Trainer and Support Specialist. At the Center for Applied Earth Science and Engineering Research (CAESER) at the University of Memphis, Eva worked on several projects involving stormwater system digitization, stream assessments, Memphis aquifer studies and led water resource education classes for Shelby County Schools. Eva has worked in both private and public sectors and previously to joining the EFC, she worked in northeastern New Mexico for a consulting firm conducting well analyses for private landowners. Eva discovered her passion for water resources at CAESER in projects that involved engagement between communities and water resources related research. She continues to support project environments where communities are at the forefront of her work.
