There are resources for those who are new to the concept of asset management as well as those who just need a refresher on a specific topic or wish to dive in deeper on some aspect of asset management. The tools are from across the country.

This one stop location includes resources related to wastewater – both on-site and centralized. This platform features resources associated with On-site Decentralized Wastewater (ODWW) Systems and Centralized Conventional Wastewater Treatment (WWTW) Systems for small or privately owned wastewater systems across the United States and its Territories.

The State Revolving Info Hub offers documentation and tools related to State Revolving Funds. It’s designed to help users explore information about individual states or compare data across multiple states. The hub also includes direct links to all 102 SRF programs, making it a comprehensive resource for those interested in learning more about SRF efforts nationwide.

All water utilities experience water loss—either “Real Loss” from leaks or “Apparent Loss” from meter errors, theft, or data issues. Many also overlook Unbilled Authorized Consumption. This Water Loss Infohub provides tools and guidance to help utilities understand their water loss, prioritize actions, and build effective programs to control losses and improve efficiency.

This framework supports water, wastewater, and stormwater systems of any size in implementing asset management. It’s designed for systems with gray or both green and gray assets. Staff at any level—operations, management, or leadership—can use it, regardless of prior experience, as it covers all fundamental asset management elements in an accessible and practical way.
