She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Water Resources from the University of New Mexico. She has experience working in both federal and private-sector engineering roles, where she supported hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, sediment transport analysis, GIS mapping, and the development of technical drawings and reports. In addition to her technical work, Tammy brings experience in research, teaching, and facilitation. She has contributed to interdisciplinary research projects at UNM and supported collaborative, community-facing efforts that center accessibility and inclusion. Her background also includes teaching and mentoring in both academic and artistic settings.
