Rebekah Lucero joined the Southwest EFC as the Sr Business Manager in September 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Accounting degree from UNM Anderson School of Management. Rebekah has served in an accounting role on both UNM\u2019s Main Campus and the Health Sciences Center. After spending 18 years providing accounting support to faculty, staff, and students, opportunity led Rebekah to shift into a position within the Southwest EFC that is more diversified in scope. She currently oversees the various programmatic financial operations of the group, which includes providing holistic financial planning, supporting a large volume of awards for both pre-award and post-award activities, assisting staff in the development of tools related to rates and finance for water utilities, and developing and implementing integrated operating procedures that strengthen the Center\u2019s financial activities.<\/p>\n
