Tucker Colvin has worked at the Southwest Environmental Finance Center as a technical assistance provider, trainer, and researcher since 2021. He has 8 years of experience working in the water and wastewater fields and earned his B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Spanish from Montana State University in 2014 and M.S. in Geography from the University of New Mexico in 2020. As a graduate student at the University of New Mexico, Tucker worked for the Climate and Human Development Research Group focusing on drinking water system governance in New Mexico. His thesis titled, \u201cDrinking Water Governance for Whom? An Institutional Analysis of Rural Drinking Water Systems in New Mexico\u201d, earned thesis distinction. Tucker has extensive experience working with diverse and marginalized communities through work at the SW EFC focusing on rural and Tribal communities, graduate student work, previous jobs at food banks and in agriculture, and numerous volunteer positions.
